ASEP Software & Computing Technology Expo

As structures become more complicated and clients get more demanding in terms of quality and project delivery, the work of a structural engineer is not getting any easier. More than ever, the need of software to automate several aspects of analysis, design and detailing is needed to ensure that structural engineers design safe and reliable structures delivered on time.

ASEP is hosting the 1st Software & Computing Technology Exposition (A.SCTEX) on Sept. 30, 2011. This is a post-15AIC event and one of the highlights of the 50th Anniversary Celebration of ASEP. The exposition will feature presentations from companies like Autodesk, CSI and Tekla Structures regarding the latest features of their analysis and detailing software. Also, additional papers will be presented by practicing ASEP engineers regarding ways in which design and detailing can be made easier through software.
